Wireless Xbox controller stops working

Two controllers have stopped working with xbox. They both work with PC. Both have upto date firmware. Symptom is they briefly work the fail and need to be conncted via wire with xbox reboot. So its in the xbox software!! Console soft factory reset ?

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

This resolves the issue for a short time but it then reoccurs. It must be a console software bug. It occurs across a range of controllers with fully charged batteries. All software is upto date.

Bluetooth stopped working how? Like you can't connect your controller or wireless headset?

Its definitely the controller. Works fine on other controllers. But dont know how to contact microsoft in nz to get it replaced as its only a few months old

Hey! Is the headset wireless or wired? If it is wired, does he plug it straight into the controller, or does he use a stereo headset adapter?
