    Wireless Xbox 360 controller used on a PC randomly disconnects


    So Im using wireless xbox 360 controler on my PC with windows 10, and after resetting my computer to factory settings, my controler started to randomly disconnets while im playing, what makes it impossible to play any game. If someone had this issue, please
    tell me how to make my controller work again.

    To play on a PC with an Xbox 360 controller you need to get a wired controller. On Xbox 360 the "wire" is only used for charging on the wireless controller.

    Hi, you can't change the frequency of the controller at all.

    There are several factors that can cause interference though, large metallic objects such as a tv stand etc. Mobile devices such as phones and tablets, even your pc can all have some effect.

    This link shows a few things to try if you're having problems with the controller disconnecting randomly etc.

    Is the controller a wireless controller or wired? If it is wireless, how are you connecting it? If by using the play & charge kit, then the Xbox 360 controller will not work, as the cable is only recognized on PC for charging only. You need to use a Xbox
    360 Wireless adapter for PC to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your PC.
