    I have been using one 360 controller for PC for a few years until I started having issues with it. I started using a new wireless 360 controller. After syncing the new controller, the green light on it will blink 3 times every few seconds. Sometimes the controller will disconnect at random times, even when I'm in the middle of playing a game. It's definitely not a battery issue because I've used brand new batteries and it still happens. Not sure what to do at this point. Please help, thanks!

    Good thought, but this doesn't address the controller not appearing under 'Bluetooth & devices'.

    One more detail, when I connect the controller wirelessly to the pc via the Xbox Wireless Adapter. Press the sync button, light blinks rapidly. On PC click 'add xbox controller via wireless adapter. The controller light immediately goes solid, but the PC never indicates it found a device, it just keeps searching indefinitely.

    Yea I already tried resetting factory settings and it didn't work. The light on my MN-740 that is usually solid green in wireless is blinking green.

    You know when the console is on there is also a green light with the red light
    If the red light is seen on the front of the console where the green light normally is, in the power button, that means you could have a hardware failure. The red light from the side as you shown does not mean that, it's most likely the DVD laser as I said.
