Wireless will not work, but wired connection will.

Currently when I try to connect using my wireless connection it tells me "Can't connect to the Internet." My wired connection does work though. I've tried going through the troubleshooting steps and none of them seem to work. My roommates xbox wireless
connects fine, so I know its not the network. I'm just having problems with this and would like to resolve the issue even though my wired connection works.

Anyone having problems connecting to COD:AW multiplayer?

Looks like it was my wireless router maybe? I use a wired connection through my router but I was experiencing 100% packet loss through it according to Xbox multiplayer connection test. I connected through wireless and now it works with only 1% packet loss. Does this mean I need a new router even if the wireless works and wired connection doesn't? Every other game works fine online when my Xbox is wired. Just a CODAW issue.

Might be an issue with the cord itself. See if you have another cable or plug that cord into something else and test it that way.

How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?: 2 Xbox Ones

Wired or Wireless (for each console): 1 wireless and 1 wired

Things you have tried:

• I have tried running through the troubleshooting page (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/networking/network-connection-error-solution)
  "Can't connect to the Internet"
• Cycling power to xbox
• Cold restart of the xbox
• Waiting 5 minutes with cycling power to xbox and modem/router
  
• Testing network connection on my xbox

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown: Unknown? I have setup port forwarding on the router menu

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: Strict NAT

Any Error Codes you encounter: Can't connect to the Internet

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider): Suddenlink

One thing I still haven't tried yet would be doing a factory reset, but I wanted to hold off on trying this.

 

nothing but problems using that gateway with 2 xboxs , it isn't very good for even one xbox ....get a plain modem and a cheap netgear router and all will be well and your NAT will be open....your xbox might have a wireless card problem also but ditch that
gateway either way...

 

Well this has been going on for months and I was playing around with it and it finally decided to work. I will try using a plain modem and get a decent netgear router for it too.
