  1. Wireless VS Wired

Other than convenience of wireless is there any reason to use wireless as a way to get internet? Has anyone noticed any speed loss with wireless VS the ethernet cable?

Buying new controller. Wired or Wireless? [Help]

Is there a lot of latency when using wireless vs wired? I mean, I have wireless controllers for my 360, but it feels responsive nevertheless.

  3. wired or wireless that is the question

    Wireless controller vs Wired

Wireless just because I don't trip over a wire and it is hardly noticeable. Wired will always be better but personally I like wireless.

    Wireless Mic vs Wired

A wireless mic is handy but a lot of time, people cut out suddenly and if there is any lag, it affects your headset a little as well. You dont get this issue with a wired headset. I still prefer a wireless mic purely because the lack of wire.

  4. Wireless VS Wired

A wired connection may speed up download speeds a bit, but for everyday gaming online an average wireless connection is more than good enough.

  5. But, don't we always want more speed in our computers, drives, cpu, soundcards,RAM & ROM, its all about speed. I do have a wireless router but I keep my XBOX & Laptop connected (wired) due to speedlag in wireless and because I do have the cables to be able
to wire all except the systems that are far from the router.

  6. Of course more speed is always better in general, but when it comes to gaming the requirements are actually quite low for a level playing field.

Some one on the absolute best broadband connection possible is only going to be using a fraction of that power while playing a round on call of duty.

It all depends on how good your connection is. If you have a good connection you can get away with being wireless, like I do. If you have a bad connection you want to stay wired if you can.

    Wireless VS Wired

You're better off using wired for gaming. There is to much interference caused by other devices and other wifi networks.

  9. had to run wireless for a while then recently got a modem in my room couldnt tell a difference as long as you have a great router netgear high performance youll have no interference or lag or drops.. 3 years strong

Would you be able to try and run it wired vs. wireless? I like running my console using a wired connection.

    Wireless vs. Wired?

For the internet connection i am still favorising the wired soloution. On other things like the Headset it could be both. As long as my turtle beach Headset still works I will use it. After that i switch to wireless.

    Wireless vs. Wired?

Wired to prevent input delay, but it's up to you. Wireless has gotten so good lately, that it may be indistinguishable from each other.
