    Wireless stopped working, says I need network adapter?


    My 3 year old 360 started kicking me out of Live, stalling when streaming, disconnecting from online apps, etc. a few weeks ago, and countless trips to the support pages didn't stop the issue. We stopped using it for anything online a few days ago, then
    moved it to my daughter's room for her to have Netflix, but now it says we need to plug in a network adapter in order to get on our wireless network. She's less than 20 feet from the router, so the signal is plenty strong; why do we suddenly need an external
    wifi adapter when the internal one has been (mostly) fine since we got it? Do we have to buy it, or is there something we can do to make the internal one work again (since it was fine, aside from us getting kicked all the time recently, but the signal may
    not have been great where it was)??

    I had been using the hotspot through my iPhone to connect my Xbox to the internet. A few days ago this stopped working. My Xbox says it can't connect to my wireless network. Seems the Xbox doesn't acknowledge the network at all. Anybody help?

    When I try to test my network connection it says the wireless network hardware on this console is not working. What do I do?

    It's not the wireless network itself that's the problem, it's my console saying that I need an adapter to use a wireless network (I'm on slim so I shouldn't even need an adapter plus I've used wireless on it before)

    when i go to newtork settings and try to select my wireless network, it says i have to connect an adapter. but i already have an adapter and it worked before i made a password. when you say configure network, you mean under the wireless option of network
    settings, right? because if so, i cannot get there because of the message that pops up saying i need to connect an adapter

    it just says i need to connect a xbox 360 wireless networking adapter. ive never ever needed one, as i have the new xbox and it has the wireless stuff built in :/

    Alright so I had to do some research, I found out your new Virgin Media Super Hub works Wireless with 802.11a,b,g,and n capable in 2.4GHz band plus wireless N in 5GHz band and the Xbox 360 Wireless G Networking Adapter you have it should work just not with
    802.11n. So I would say try upgrading your Wireless Network Adapter to the newest "Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter" and then try connecting online to Xbox Live.
