    I have used my XBOX 360 on wireless for several years. Tonight it just stopped connecting to my network. Nothing has changed and I tried everything online support suggests to fix it. It lists my network as available with a strong signal but as soon as
    I try to connect it says connection failed. Any ideas?

    My Xbox will not connect to the internet.

    My brand new xbox 360 just stopped connecting to the internet both wireless and lan-line.

    And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help

    If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Does the Xbox 360 provide you with an error message when it fails to connect to the network? Also, does it fail when connecting to network, internet or Xbox Live? We have an article entitled

    I've Connected to Xbox Live Before, But I Can't Connect Now     that provides solutions for the Xbox 360 not being able to connect to a network. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Yes i know, i normally used wireless but it stopped allowing me to connect to any wireless connection so had to buy an ethernet cable so i could still use my xbox

    Are you using wireless or ethernet.

    If using wireless i would recommend using the ethernet adapter and trying again, there may be a problem with your wireless router settings, so the connection times out and the download stops.
