    Hello Xbox staff,

    I am very disappointed with the Xbox one standard controller wireless range.

    I have an A/V room for all of my amps, game consoles and other media players. The Xbox 360 worked perfectly in this situation because it used a radio signal.

    The current Xbox controller fails to connect to my console in the same set up.

    Are the Xbox one controllers dule signal capable?

    Will the Xbox one controller ever return to the truely perfect system of a radio recover and transmitter which allowed for large distances between the controller and consol.

    Finally- What is the name of the executive manager who made the decision to change to a Bluetooth wireless signal? I want to write a letter to them directly.

    Wireless controllers

    I just have a question on using wireless controllers. Are there any issues with using multiple systems with wireless controllers in the same room? Is there a maximum number of wireless controllers that can be used around each other at the same time? For
    example: if friends got together and had 8 Xbox 360's each with 2 wireless controllers set up in the same room can it be done? issues?

    Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox?

    Same issue. Tried multiple headsets, multiple controllers, multiple batteries, multiple hard resets. I can hear party, but mic never activates. Was working fine, then walked out of range. Since then, I can't get it to work.

    My XB1 controllers' wireless connections barely make it through the kitchen (which is the very next room and ~30 ft. away) before completely sputtering out, so I doubt the OP would get the kind of ranges that Up is talking about unless you had some way to
    enhance the wireless signal, which is doubtful. You're better off just plugging it in, and doing that for 3 separate rooms at the same time for a single console? Not really feasible or practical if you ask me.

    The wireless range is ~20 feet. Which Xbox do you have?

    Is it plugged into a surge protector/extension cord? If so, try plugging it directly into the wall. This can help prevent interference.

    How to extend xbox one controller range ?

    There are no actual methods of extending the wireless range of the controller. The hardware is built-in and remains constant.

    You can, however, improve the range by removing all physical obstructions, minimizing wireless interference from other devices, and ensuring that the controller is in direct line-of-sight to the console.

    Sounds like your just out of range for the controller. The controllers do not use RF they use a proprietary wifi. I believe the rang is about 20ft. You may try updating the controller firmware, and move anything like a wireless access point away from the
    console or anything in the 2.4ghz range.
