    Wireless Network not working.


    Hi, I have a problem with connecting my Xbox One S to the internet via WiFi. It happened suddenly after about 1 year of working correctly. It shows error message "Can't connect to your wireless network". I tried every suggested solutions, but it didn't help.
    Password is fine, MAC Adress isn't banned. It finds WiFi networks properly. Only thing that helps is connecting it via Ethernet cable. I hoped that firmware update will solve the problem, sadly it didn't.

    Hey there!

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your console. Does a wired connection work on your console? If so, it sounds like there may be an issue with the wireless hardware in your console. You can try running through the

    network troubleshooter     to see if any of those steps resolve it but if you continue to get a specific error message regarding a hardware issue, your console may be in need of repair. That process can be explored via the
    Online Service Center.

    Wireless network hardware not working

    Hi,

    When I go to connect my wireless network to my console, it comes up with the message of ' the wireless network hardware on this console is not working '. I have already talked to a member of the Microsoft answer tech who said I should come onto this preview
    support and ask for assistance. He also said to select something called 'Option 1610' and I don't really know what that means or is.

    So if anyone could help me on this matter, it would be much appreciated,

    The wireless network is fine. Other games work. The problem is not with the wireless network.

    Hmm well if you can see your own wireless network that would indicate that the wireless is working ok. Are you saying you've managed to connect to other wireless networks in other locations without a problem?

    Did forget to mention that I am running off of the Wireless-N network which I should have mentioned before. I set my wireless-n network channel to 161 and my wireless-g network to 11. Lets hope that works!
