Configure your wireless settings

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings and then select System Settings.
   
2. Select Network Settings.
3. Select the name of your wireless network.
   
   Note If you do not see your wireless network, select Advanced Options. Then, select Specify Unlisted Network, and enter your wireless network name. Next, you are prompted to choose the security type.
   
4. Enter your wireless network password. How to find your wireless network password.
   
5. Select Yes if you are prompted to update your console software.

So I can now reconnect my elite controller but that's it

When you try to connect your console what error shows you on screen?

That's great. Let me know if I'm wrong, but you're having this issue with your wireless accessories as well, which is definitely an interference problem in my opinion.

1. Select Check network connection. This test should determine if you have a working Internet connection from your Xbox One to your network device.
2. Try to repair any errors that appear. See the Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution to help resolve any network connection
   errors.
3. If you don’t receive any network errors or can’t resolve the errors you do see, you may have other problems with your network that are causing your Xbox One to time out or fail the system update. These issues can include the following:
   • Wireless interference
   • High packet loss
   • Latency.
4. If any of these issues are causing a problem, try a wired connection.
