Wireless Internet Issues with Xbox 360

I recently set up a new router in my place but I've been having problems with my Xbox 360's wireless connection for the better part of a year. It's in the bedroom but doesn't have access to a hardline connection (want to use it primarily for streaming).
I moved it to the living room to test and haven't been able to find a solution. Here are the details:

1. When I connected it directly to the router it was find (unfortunately this is not an option)

2. My connection speed is 60-80mbps over wireless on my other devices.

3. I clear the cache to no success.

4. I've put it in the DMZ and set a static IP, Opened Ports 3074, 88, 80, 53

5. When I run the network statistics I'm getting the following: Latency 67 ms, Packet loss 16%, Upload speed 3.23 Mbps, Download Speed: 0.23 Mbps, Signal Strength 100%, Wifi Speed 6 Mbps.

It's a Reach Xbox 360. Is there an issue with something physical? Would really love a solution. Thank you.

Problem Downloading New System Update

How are you connecting your XBOX 360 to the internet? Wired, or Wireless?

If you have any wireless headsets or devices around the XBOX 360 (Turtle Beaches cause issues with XBOX 360's updates apparently) you will need to turn them off. If you've done all that you may want to try to update manually by going here.

How are you connecting your XBOX 360 to the internet? Wired, or Wireless?

If you have any wireless headsets or devices around the XBOX 360 (Turtle Beaches cause issues with XBOX 360's updates apparently) you will need to turn them off.

If you've done all that you may want to try to update manually by going here. (You will need to follow solution #5)

The issue is most like the 16% packet loss and this is typically a networking issue. A wired connection would be the ideal solution, you could also try power cycling your network equipment to see if it helps out.

This sounds like an issue with 2.4 ghz interference which the Xbox 360 wireless headset uses as does you're wifi. Are you playing using a wireless internet connection on your Xbox 360? if so, you might want to change wireless channels to see if it alleviates
interference.

If the wireless phone is knocking anyone off their wired and wireless internet on the 360, go with a phone with a 6.0 or higher wireless megahertz. You guys get what I am saying. I had the same issue withmy first 360 years ago.
