Wireless headset (X1)

You guys should have out a wireless headset in the box for 500$ this wired one is old school come its 2014 i feel like a 90s customer rep with this wired one. and don't give me that "the kinect is a wireless headset" because that's not what I what I'm talking
about. don't get me wrong i like the new kinect and everything but when i walk around the house or anywhere the cord from the headset gets caught on everything and i have to have the controller with me which almost made drop it about 1000 time please make
a wireless headset ASAP and please don't make it expensive there should be a discount for those who bought the X1 in 2013 or in Nov 2013.

All in one Headset/headphones query

The new Turtle Beach XO4 and XO7 released recently and they both work on X1 and PS4 (and mobile, 3DS etc) - although on PS4 I'm unsure how you will be able to change the volume as it's done via the headset adapter on X1.

The Sony Wireless 2.0 PS4 Headset will work with both PS4 and X1 also (although, you will need to buy the headset adapter seperately for the X1)

1st - my understanding is the connector between the headset and the controller are different. x360 is a 3.5mm plug type and the X1 has a micro USB.

2nd - the wireless portion aka Frequency is handled by the wireless transmitter of the headset maker, and has nothing to do with the x360 as the only thing that is wireless is the controller which carries the chat channel

as far as the x1 goes I'm not sure if they have integrated the chat, in game sound and controller all on the same controller frequency and that is the reason for the plug change on the headset to controller or what.

I have read rumor that MS and possibly TB are working on an adapter that will allow x360 headsets to work with the x1. But I don't have any verifiable proof of that.

I would still probably buy a wireless headset even if the X1 came with the generic headset.

I really just can't stand headsets that go over my head or on both ears, I have been using these wireless headsets for about 5 years, and would really like to keep using the ones that I already have.
