Wireless headset problems help!!!! Please!!

My xbox 360 wireless headset will only work if I have the chat pad plugged into my wireless controller as soon as I remove the chat pad the headset changes sync to channel 2 and will not even cycle back to channel 1 it just goes to 2 3 and 4 if chat pad
is connected headset works normally

Need help finding a true universal wireless over the ear headset

Hi all,
I need help with finding a universal wireless over the ear (around the ear) gaming headset that must work with PC, Xbox one, and PS4, and must be over the ear!
I know some headsets like Astro A50 are so called wireless, but when it comes to the Xbox one, you have to wire it to the controller for the mic to work.
So please help me to find a true universal wireless headset.
Price: the lower, the better!

Have you tried using another controller while you are using the wireless headset without the chatpad? The wireless headset should only skip a controller port when a wired headset is plugged in. I believe that there is something wrong with your controller,
as it seems to be detecting a wired headset when there is not one plugged in. You may want to try using compressed air on the headset port of the controller and see if maybe that might help.

 

Clean off the wireless plug in and all wires are connected properly and securely while making sure the wireless controller is fully charged.
