    Wireless headset not recognized by xbox accessories app.


    I have a PDP LVL 50 WIRELESS headset that was about 6 months old all of a sudden not being recognized by the xbox accessories app. Still under warranty I contacted pdp and they sent me a brand new headset...which is having the exact same problem. When
    I plug in the usb dongle into the usb ports, tried them all on the two xboxes in our house nothing happens. The usb dongle is paired to the headset fine but I can not hear anything but my own voice in the speakers and an intermittent beeping sound like what
    happens if I try to walk in the back of my house with it on, it is acting like the connection is not good. The usb ports are working fine to charge, connect my hard drive, and keyboard and mouse. And before you post to hard reset my xbox or make sure my mic
    is not muted please note that I have literally tried EVERYTHING I can in changing settings pairing and unpairing the headset and they both work fine with my laptop and tablet. It really seems like it HAS to be a problem with the xbox accessories app somehow.
    It did start about the time of the last update, i am not certain because i do not remember the exact day but i know i contaced pdp gaming around that time. So I basically got a free headset from pdp gaming but if it does not work with my xbox they are not
    worth much to me. Please let me know if you are having an issue with your usb headsets, not wired ones. And any other possible ways this can be fixed please.

    Windows 10 use requires Bluetooth 4.2+, Xbox Wireless adapter or compatible USB-C cable. Each sold separately, explaining why both the adapter and cable weren't included with the headset.

    Is this a Xbox One Chat headset or Stereo headset that is acting up or is it a third party accessory? Does the controller itself work with any test headsets or is it not recognizing any headsets? Can you describe the issue that is being experienced with

    Sadly no Ali. The Xbox Wireless Headset needs to be powered on and connected to your console or device in order to update its settings in the Accessories app.
