Wireless headset for use with Xbox One X AND smart TV

I have searched extensively and somehow my use case does not seem to bother most people:

• I want a wireless headset that I can use for sound and communication with my Xbox when playing, but also with my Sony TV (apps, fire tv, chromecast) when the Xbox is turned off.
  
• I do not want to plug anything in and out when switching.
  
• I am okay with a base station. I do not want to use my Xbox controller in this scenario.
  

The TV has an Optical (Digital Audio Out). Is it possible to get the the sound output through Xbox --HDMI-> TV --Optical-> Base Station and at the
same time have the audio input as Base Station --?-> Xbox? Alternatively can the audio go back through the TV?

If I take the Astro A50 as an example, the is an optical and a USB connection. Would it work with that setup or does the USB handle more than just audio + charging?

Do you have any other suggestions, are any special settings on the Xbox required, and are there any possible caveats? I would gladly take recommendations for headsets below 200$ that could make this work.

Xbox One X starts automatically when my tv is turned on

Hi.

My Xbox one x console is connected with an hdmi cable to my smart tv (Samsung 65KS8090). I can use the smart remote control of my tv to interact with my xbox console. This works fine.

The problem is, as soon as I turn on my tv, the xbox console is turned on, too.

Is there an option to turn this "feature" off? I is pretty annoying to turn off the console every time the tv starts.

Kinect Sensor

Can I use the Kinect Sensor as a web cam independently from the x-box with a Smart TV?

 

Take a look at the Turtle beach Stealth 700. It connect wireless to the console just like your controller and it has bluetooth so you can use with any bluetooth device like your phone, laptop or TV with Bluetooth. I use the Turtle Beach 800X with uses
a transmitter base to connect with the Xbox but it's bluetooth too

 

I use the Astros A50 and they are goooood!!

 

Would they work in my setup? Sound output through TV, mic input through xbox?

In the Astro 50 what is transporting the mic input, is it the usb?

I read that bluetooth has really reduced quality. I am not looking for the top shelf quality headsets but keeping 5.1 might be nice.
