Wireless Headphones Issue - Repost

Hello all,

Having issues with wireless headsets, (specifically a Rig 800 lx and an unknown model of turtle beach) and the issue seems to be with the microphone monitoring, but something is really strange with this, as I've never troubleshooted anything like this, so now I turn to the community for answers.

Mic monitoring settings seem to be set to 0 on both headsets, and I don't have a hardware option on the headsets to adjust this option, only the activation of the mic (putting it from pointing up [muted], to down in front of my face [active]). I then thought after seeing it affect both headsets that the issue might lie within the console itself. So, I tried my Rig 800 on my older gen Xbox 1, rather than the newer gen Xbox 1 X Scorpio. Unfortunately, the mic monitoring remained at 0, and I have run out of ideas. As I've previously stated, I've never run into an issue like this before, and I can't find anything about it online. If further details are needed, I'd be glad to provide to clear up this issue.

Okay. Could you go into the console's audio settings and send me a printscreen of what settings are set?

1.) The setting appears, but is grayed out and inaccessible. The setting is set to 0, and cannot be altered.

2.) Both headsets are wireless.

Got it. To isolate the problem, if you connect a wired headset to the controller, does the same happen?

Yes, the issue persists. What really confuses me is how my friend has the exact same RIG headset and his works with no issues.

Just to be clear, the microphone monitoring option doesn't appear active for you, or doesn't it make a difference if you put the bar all the way to the right? And are the headsets wired or wireless?
