After about a year I still have this problem, and from what I can see online others too. My wireless Stealth 700 headset will randomly disconnects and stutter, and sometimes not even connect to my Xbox, it’s been 1 year with this issue, i can’t even talk to my friends because of the stuttering

Keep getting disconnected from XBOX Live

Do you use any wireless headsets like Turtle Beach? If so, disconnect them. Generally random disconnections and especially that 80072ee2 error code are caused by wireless interference of some kind.

    Random wireless disconnections

Im having the same issue with my controller, after reconnecting i lose my MIC almost every time. I have asked around during games and i would say at least 2/4 people in every game are having similar issues. The only current fix i have is unplugging my Xbox.
I have updated both of my controllers, and the issue has significantly gotten worse since.

    Hey mate,

Yeah, I've also noticed a few different posts surrounding the issue, but as it could be any number of problems (with the xbox, the internet, the connection, the modem, etc), it is hard to give a fix. Your issue again is a new one to me, as I've never heard
of the xbox diconnecting with the controller, usually its one or the other.

Are you able to plug the controller into the xbox and see if that solves the problem? As i'm thinking that the controller disconnecting may be what is causing it, perhaps meaning you need to update the firmware on the controller. Here is how to set up your
    controller to play it wired:
    support.xbox.com/.../connect-charge-cable-to-controller

To update the controllers firmware, simply follow the instructions I've pasted below :)

If your controller is not up to date, you may be missing important software updates, including the latest controller firmware. Follow these steps to update your controller:

    1.Connect to Xbox Live.

    2.Press the Menu button.

    3.Select Settings.

    4.Select Devices & accessories.

    5.Select your controller.

6.If an update is available, you'll see an option to select Update. If no update is available, your controller is already up to date, and you don't need to do anything else.

7.If your controller does need an update, connect a USB cable to your controller and follow the on-screen instructions to complete it.

8.You'll see an update progress screen.

9.When the update is complete, unplug the USB cable. If you have additional controllers to update, connect them now, one at a time, select the Update another button on the screen and then follow the steps.

10.Press the Xbox button on the wireless controller to turn it on.

I'm hoping that it is the controller that is causing the issues, so give this a try and let me know if the problem persists :)

    Cheers

    Random wireless disconnections

i have been having the same problem for more than a week. I did have a stable connection having never been kicked off of xbox live or had my wirelss connection drop but it's been hell. I've contacted customer support twice now with NO fix given. Everything
they've tried has not improved the situation. I did not that the system became unstable after the last update but it may be coincidence
