Discus and support Wireless gaming to monitor in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi, I have my Xbox One X connected to my TV in the living room via HDMI.     Hi,

    I have my Xbox One X connected to my TV in the living room via HDMI. About 6meters away I have a Mac Mini with soon to be a gaming monitor. Without running a long HDMI cable from the Xbox to the monitor, is there a way to cast wirelessly directly to the monitor (without casting to the Mac Mini)? And if so, would there be significant lag?

    What if I configured it the other way around. Xbox positioned at my monitor and used a wireless hdmi transmitter/receiver to connect to the TV?

    The console does not have this function and I believe that neither the monitor would have this technology.

    I have read of people using a HDMI transmitter for the Xbox...however, you may end up with very bad lag for gaming. I quote this from someone on Reddit 6 years ago so things may have improves a little possibly:

    "We just tried to use wireless HDMI with an Xbox One at our house. Not sure if this is endemic to all wireless HDMI, but the input lag was RIDICULOUS. Like... a good half-second or so. Fine for watching video, but utterly useless for gaming."

    Officially none of this works with the console but you can try it yourself. I've never seen anyone do something like that and maybe it might work but it's unlikely to work.
