wireless functions failing

Discus and support wireless functions failing in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my xboxone wont turn on from my control pad. i have to manually power on the console and then hard wire my control pad to get it recognized. it works...     my xboxone wont turn on from my control pad. i have to manually power on the console and then hard wire my control pad to get it recognized. it works normally after that. my console also no longer powers on my tv when i turn it on even tho it is set to do
    so.

    Help!

    my Xbox keeps saying something about the wireless hardware and is failing to find any wireless connection. Is there any way I can’t fix this

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    It's good to check things like that. Your wireless router could be having problems where the wireless function is starting to fail. If you can't try that, it's not the end of the world though. Check for anything that could cause interference. For example
    do you use any wireless devices (Like Turtle Beach headsets) or possibly do you live near a lot of people?

    The controller has likely failed, don't forget how old it is and it's incredible that it's still functional at all, you've obviously treated it well.

    don't forget it it's almost 20 years old. Luckily for you they have just issued new guitar controllers that are also wireless
