Wireless controllers will not sync to console

Sadly, I expect the only option would be to schedule a repair. Before you do that, is there a friend that you can borrow a controller from to see if it will sync? Or have you tried to sync them to another console? I am just trying to determine beyond a doubt
that the console is the problem before you take that final plunge.

That is why I wanted to test the USB cable too. I really do not want to have to get it repaired, but I will if necessary. I don't have access to another controller or console though. But, seeing as the controllers synced to a PC it probably is not a fault
in the controllers. It also seems unlikely that I would have this problem with all three controllers if it isn't a fault in the console. Does anyone know for certain if the USB connection will or will not allow my controllers to sync? I would hate to spend
$20 on one just to find that it didn't solve anything.

Ok, checking around I found this: Hold down the sync button on the front of the xbox (with the xbox ON) for 30 seconds, or until the light stops spinning, and turns off. Then turn off the xbox, and unplug the power supply from the xbox, the cord from the
power supply and the cord from the wall and then remove the hard drive and wait for a minute. Then hook everything back up and attempt it as normal. Then I also found somebody that said that they could not sync their controller if the tv was not on the input
for the 360. IE if they were trying to sync while watching cable.

Quite a bit of what I have been reading suggest removing the HD for some reason. Not sure why, but it seemed to work for most having the problem. Seeing as it should not hurt your 360 to remove the HD, you have nothing to loose by trying this.

Just re-read your post and you have the 4 gig. So maybe that last bit won't help at all.

Well, found this too: If you're using an HDMI connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, it might be that. When using HDMI, the Xbox won't boot up until it knows what the TV is capable of displaying. Although the controller will turn the console on, it
won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and
the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just
might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI.

Thank you so much! After reading those last few comments, I realized that I had only tried to sync the controllers while disconnected from the television, or while the television was on a different input. Changing the input to the Xbox allowed the controllers
to connect! Also, I had already tried removing the 250gb hard drive in my 4gb console with no luck.

    turn on console

Hey there Ashford! Is your controller wireless? If so, your controller may not be synced properly with the console anymore. Try turning the console on with the physical button, then try syncing your controller by pressing the sync button on the console and
controller. Once they sync up again, turn your console off and try turning it on with the controller. Let me know the result of this, thanks!

Can someone help me re sync my controllers ?

    Sync the Controller:
To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.

You are supposed to link the Wireless Headset, after the console has booted to the Dashboard anyway & then link it to your active controller...

It's confusing the console, when you turn the controller on or sync it, to start the console & there is another device (Wireless Headset) trying to access the same quadrant.. The console is lagging, because, it is processing, what Wireless Device turned
    it on to sync etc..
