Wireless controllers unable to sync

Within the past month, I have experienced an intermittent problem when neither of my controllers will connect to the XB1, nor can they be re-paired. The solution is to reboot the XB1.

The issue has occurred frequently enough that I decided to set the XB1 to energy saving mode so that it boots up fresh every time. I have not had the issue since I changed the power mode.

Found it and re installed Windows 10, the controllers still do not sync to the wireless receiver

i have the newer xbox and only one of my wireless controllers wont reconnect or sync

 

Does this happen when the controllers have low batteries in them? Also, some have reported some syncing issues since the last update.

 

It's not a battery issue because my 2nd controller is plugged in/charging until I need it.

This is likely the same issue related to a recent software update. I couldn't see any other official channel to make a complaint.

 

The wifi cards are the fault of the disconnect issues. I replaced mine on Friday and have not had a single disconnect yet. People usually lose the ability to keep sync with the controller while others have issues with the wifi. You can buy the cards used,
I recommend eBay because of their buyer protection. You can look up videos and illustrations on how to take the console apart to replace the card. It's relatively easy to do. Also try connecting the controllers to a friends console to make sure it's not the
controllers.
