    Xbox One Extra Controller

The product details states "... one commemorative wireless controller, a second wireless controller ..."

The second wireless controller is NOT a commemorative wireless controller.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. I have 2 wireless controllers that can only be used while plugged in. I have tried most things in Xbox One Wireless Controller Help | Fix Your Xbox One Controller
to fix the issue. I have official xbox one batteries, I have energizer quick charge batteries, I have tried new and rechargeable batteries,. I have disabled all wireless, and switched over to wired netork. I have made sure both the xbox and the controllers
are updated, and I have tried to resync using the button on the console and the controllers. I have moved less than a foot away from the front on the console. I have one hard drive attached and have tried it without that attached. Nothing is blocking the
direct line of sight between the controllers and the console. Nothing works. The only thing I haven't tried is a new controller, I wasn't sure if that mattered since I have 2, a Day One edition, and one that is about 2 years old.

The only temporary fix I have found other than plugging the controller in, is to unplug the power, and let the console unplugged overnight. Whenever I try this, the controllers work just like they should, with no issues at all. But once I turn the controller
off, it will not reconnect without the wire. My controllers use to disconnect now and then, but I could always get them to reconnect without the wire , it's been a little over a month since I have to use the wire all the time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

are you using a wireless controller/headset?

I assume you use wireless controller as you say youve changed batteries.

    what about a wired controller/headset?

if its fine with wired and not through wireless control then theres something not right with the console and its wireless sync with controllers.

Is it possible to use the "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10" on an XBOX One to Connect Wireless Controllers?

You probably mean the right thing, but the Xbox One does not use Bluetooth to connect controllers wirelessly, but a Xbox specific wireless communication protocol.

Since the console has this wireless protocol built into the special wireless module already, the Xbox One doesn't support the USB wireless connector.

    Try the
suggestions in the Wireless Controller Troubleshooter here
to hopefully fix your wireless controller issues.

    Cable play&charge to windows 10

    Hi,

When using this cable on a 360 it will allow you to continue to play while charging. It doesn't make the wireless 360 controller a wired controller, in fact the controller remains wireless.

Hence, if you plug this into a 360 controller and a PC, it will just charge the battery - or power the controller if no battery is present. It won't make the controller wired. This is because the 360 wireless controller was only designed to be wireless.

To use a 360 wireless controller on your PC, you'll need a 360 Game Receiver.

    Controller xbox360 per pc

    Hi,

Unfortunately unlike the Xbox One controllers, the wireless Xbox 360 controllers remain wireless regardless of whether you connect them to a PC with a Play and Charge. You can't make an Xbox 360 wireless controller a wired controller.

If you want to use your 360 wireless controller on a PC you'll need to buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows.
