Wireless Controller Xbox 360 for Windows

Bought a set of Xbox 360 Wireless Controller + Receiver, connected play, everything was normal.

About a month later, there was a problem and a half games (with whom he had worked before), it stopped working.

BioShock Infinite it just does not see, Splinter Cell - Blacklist and Morrowind right stick does not work and the camera is controlled by triggers (you press right, camera left and vice versa)

Although Skyrim and GTA 4 is still doing well

Carefully moving the driver removes the device, all that can be tried, help!

Connecting my Xbox 360 controller to Windows 8 laptop.

For wireless Xbox 360 controllers, you cannot use the charging cable to connect to a PC (it only transfers power, not data). To use the controller with a PC, you will either need an "Xbox 360 controller for Windows" (non-detachable cable) or use your existing
wireless controller with the wireless gaming receiver for Windows.

I would guess that since your other games are working still ok, the issue must be with the games and not the controller. Are you sure those games are detecting your Xbox 360 controller in their controller settings screens?

If you are still having issues you may need to go through the support websites of the publishers of the games your controller is having problems with or the support pages of the sites you used to activate the game, such as Steam Support.

Thanks for your post! To use an Xbox 360 controller on a Windows PC, you must use the

Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver. Since the Xbox 360 controller and Xbox One controller use different wireless technologies, the new receiver is not compatible with 360 controllers.

This is because the charge cable only does that - charges the controller.

To use a 360 wireless controller with Windows you need to use one of these:

No that's not correct. All Xbox 360 controllers will work with Windows. The only difference with the Xbox 360 controller for Windows is that these were largely sold as wireless controllers and came bundled with the Xbox Gaming Receiver for Windows.

Unlike the Xbox One/Series X|S controllers, you can't make a wireless Xbox 360 controller wired by connecting a Play & Charge cable to it. A wireless controller connected with a Play & Charge cable are always wireless. The cable does not send data it only recharges the battery or powers the controller if no battery is present.

If you want to use a wireless Xbox 360 controller with a PC, you'll need a 360 Gaming Receiver. And, it must be the Xbox 360 receiver, the Xbox One wireless adaptors don't work.

just to be sure are you using a wired controller or are you using a wireless controller with play and charge cable.
