Wireless Controller worked fine for 2months & now I can't get it to sync to my xbox..

Please help, I've been trying everything possible to get my controller to sync back up to my xbox. If I plug my cell phones mini USB cable in it works. The problem with this is its only a 4 ft cable and constantly disconnects to the controller. This is extremely
frustrating while playing multiplayer. Anyways I tried turning off by holding xbox button on console for 10 sec then pullin the power. I even took the power supply and ran it straight into my outlet rather than the surge protector. I don't have any other xboxone
remotes in the house to try either. Also when I try and update the control it only gets to 99% stalls and eventually tells me " There was a problem updating your controller. Sorry we couldn't update the controller". Please help with any ideas on how to fix
this. No fun having all these games to play but a controller that can't *** Connect!

Controller issues

Hi,

I had a wireless controller & one day it just stopped working. It just kept flashing & it wouldn't sync with the console.

I thought it was an issue with the controller, so i bought a new one, but this time it was a wired controller (as it was cheaper) & then it worked fine, and did so for a few months. Yesterday i got another wireless controller & it has done the same as the
first wireless controller, which makes me think its an issue with the Xbox itself.

Has anybody any experience with this problem?

New slim sync button doesn't work!

So today I connected my new Xbox 360 slim up and at first everything was fine. I connected my old controller and everything was fine. Then I went to connect my wireless mic to the console and when I press the sync button on the console nothing happens.
No spinning lights not even a flash. I've tried turning the console off, turning all the controllers off but still no spinning lights. I've tried to resync the old controller and still the sync on the console will not work. The sync button on the console worked
when I used it to do my old controller but now I can't get it to do anything. Any help or do I just need to send it to MS? (I've had the console for 3 months but just hooked it up)

 

Try holding the sync button on the controller and the console until they sync to each other. The sync button on the console is on the side front corner. It's a silver button and it has wavy lines on it.

 

I tried that and the xbox symbol increase in blink speed and eventually slows back down to a steady blink. I just bought the rechargeable battery pack and the mini usb to usb that comes with it. Works fine while plugged in but just won't sync to my xbox
again. . Idk what to do now

 

I'm having the exact problem too! 500 dollar product can't even get one of the most important parts of the gaming console (the controller) right.

 

It is very nice to play on a konsole in the year 2014 with a usb kabel on the controller....Great jop

 

No.... I think it is a software problem. When i see how many people have this problem look at the 60 pages treath...I am very sad that Ms nothing says. There are people who have the third replacement konsole with the same problem.... And others who have
no problems... Please MS fix that SAY SOMETHING...I don not whant buy a PS 4 .

I wait till Bf Hardline ... When this problem isnt fixed i buy a Ps 4 . I dont will play with a usb connection in 2014...

Exactly! I long gave up on fixing my control! Tried everything! I went and got a bad
[Mod Removed] 2 rechargeable batterys and a usb cable (maby 8-10 ft long) that's ment for the controller KIT from gamestop. So that's how Im Rollin now. Dumb that my brand new stuff Won't sync up in 2014! Especially when our 360 remotes could
be used as a chew toy by our 115lb pit and still works fine.. despite most of the plastic being chewed up. It's scary because I bought from bestbuy in March but I didn't pay to get the warranty :\ . If anyone figures out how to fix this issue plus let's us
