    Wireless Controller won't connect to Xobox


    Hi! I got my console since last winter, and I got 2 wireless controllers (that I had since them). Since a couple of days my controllers decided they weren't connected to the console anymore (yes the two of them!). Now I'm trying to reconnect them as it said
    on your website, but it seems the controller just can't find the console. Note that what my wire controller it works perfectly and if I try to connect the wireless controller with the wire it works too.

    Headset not connecting

    my headset won't connect to my x box even though it has done before. It works in other devices. I have a wireless controller. Do I need to connect it with an adapter?

    It worked for 2 minutes yesterday then I unplugged it from my controller nowith it won't connect again.

    Where do you keep your Xbox One?

    my xobox one is beside my wallunit as I can fit that damn beast in it anywhere. Ive had no issues with either my Day 1 or my extra controller.

    Is it maybe a conflict with other wireless devices? wireless keyboard/mouse or something else.

    Hey there Zombie9to5.

    First, be sure you power cycle your Xbox One (hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds), then try re syncing your controller by pressing the sync button on both your Xbox One and wireless controller. If you're still having issues, is there any chance you
    can test your controller with a different Xbox One to see if it connects there? If an alternate console works, the issue may be on your Xbox One console's side.

    Hi,

    I suspect you're attempting to connect an Xbox 360 wireless controller to your PC using a Play & Charge cable? Effectively making it a wired controller?

    I'm afraid this won't work. Unlike Xbox One/Series X controllers, wireless 360 controllers are always wireless, connecting a Play & Charge simply charges the battery or powers the controller if no battery is present. Unfortunately the cable doesn't send data.

    The only way to connect these controllers to a PC is via an Xbox 360 gaming receiver. The receiver for Xbox one controllers is not compatible.

    so in troubleshooting and deeper looking, it would appear that my PC does not inherently come with bluetooth, the only thing really connecting my controller has been the wireless adapter, although it still doesn't answer why a wired connection won't suffice. it jsut won't pick up the existence of my controller
