    Wireless controller very slow

    Hi,

I brought the mortal kombat and controller package when the game was released. The controller that it came with worked OK at first but lately i have noticed that when using some of the buttons they don't respond straight away. For instance on the xbox home
page i can press the right dpad key and a couple of seconds later it highlight will move to the right.

Ive plugged it in and tried with it wired, still the same.same. Ive checked for an update for it and it is up to date.I have the controller that came with the XB1 still and that works fine.So it has to be be something wrong with this controller?

    Anyone got any ideas??

    Regards

    :)

Try going to network settings and disconnecting on your xbox then configure the network settings to restore to default reboot your xbox and connect. Like shad0wman said low connections are problems with your WI-FI if my suggestions don't work I would suggest
you ring the company of your network provider.

Did this issue ever get resolved? I'm experiencing the same thing. Recently my internet was upgraded, and now my Xbox Live connection is slower and impossible to play online. I also use a Cisco wireless modem router (Linksys X2000), which had problems when
my internet was upgraded. My other devices such as iPad, mobile phone receive wifi perfectly, just Xbox Live is not working as it should. I am yet to try a wired connection but that will be an impractical long term solution.

I'm thinking it could possibly be my wifi adapter for the Xbox, which sounds like the same model as yours.

    Hey there Tortured sole!

Does this happen when playing games or only when you're on the home screen? If it's just with the home screen, let's try a full power cycle on your console by holding the power button for 10 seconds (or until console turns off) and the power back on. That
should speed up your console and help with any delay when pressing buttons on the home screen.

If it's with all games, would it be possible to borrow a friend or family member's controller to see if you get the same issue? You might also want to try a different USB cable.

It seems that alot of people are having issues with the xbox wireless adapter (white one) Its a possiblility you guys just might need to upgrade to the black wireless adapter.
