    Odd wireless controller issue

    Hey there Blue,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your controller.

    • When you sync your controller and you say that it does sync, how are you sure?
        • You said the controller works, does a light come up on the console to indicate which slot the controller is synced to?
    • Have you tried syncing the controller to a different console to see if this still occurs.
    • Are you using a rechargeable battery pack or regular AA?

    This will help us narrow down exactly where the issue may lie. It's possible that there is a fault in the controller where it is syncing but that signal is not being sent to the guide lights so that they flash the recognition.

    Wireless controller issue

    Mine failed once right after the update, I turned off the console, powered it back up and after the console completely powered back up, I then turned on the controller and all was good to go.

    Didn't have to resynk the controller at all.

    Hi i see were you are coming from and my suggestions would be going to Xbox home and then going over to settings and clicking on preferences and clicking on voice and going to voice output and checking the voice volume and game volume. Or another suggestion
    is to try to return the Xbox controller and getting a new one and seeing how that one works. Or going to a place that sells the type of headset that you have and asking them are there any other kind of headset that would work. Hopefully this helps. -Zackman155

    Well, it depends on how long you'd had that controller. I've had a controller for mine for a while and it lasts longer than an hour but still dies out randomly, so you might wanna get another controller. It also depends if you have dropped the controller
    on hard surface, that can do some damage, so you might wanna go out and buy a new controller.

    How long have you had that particular controller? If you've had it for a little bit, its quite possible it may be time for a new controller. Everything that you have listed is everything that I would've done to try and fix the problem. I would try a new
    controller and see if that may fix the issue. Best of luck!
