Wireless controller does not work with YouTube on first launch

Hello. Thank you for bringing this to the xbox forums. I’m sorry to hear your controller isn’t working properly. Unfortunantly chances are you will have to buy a new one. There is a troubleshoot link here you can try if you like. Sorry man.

Troubleshoot your Xbox One wireless controller

In regards to the sync issue. I’ve found that some users in the past would launch an app first, like youtube, then switch over to a game and the data would sync. Don’t know how that makes a difference but maybe give it a try?

Yes i connect the controller directly to the PC with a cable but its not work

I searchd in youtube and google and i found pepole are use it with cable and why i need wireless adapter when i have cable

Is the controller a Wireless controller though? The cable that comes with the Wireless 360 controller does not transmit data, only power for charging. The Wireless controller needs a Wireless receiver to work

There are people that have connected the wireless controller via a different USB cable, that is true...however, it's not a straightforward solution and certainly not for anyone who doesn't know what they are doing

what you should do is first turn off the Xbox 360. Then sync the controller if that does work good, but if it does not try going on Xbox 360 Wireless controller problems you can always change batteries if that's the proplem

Youtube does have a few videos to help you fix these controllers. Make sure you don't have a warranty on it first.
