    Wireless controller auto shuts off after 15 minutes.


    Xbox one wireless controller auto shuts off every 15 minutes while using headphones through controller when streaming. Seems to be doing it only when streaming Amazon Prime and or Pluto TV. Controllers have the latest firmware update. Is there a fix for
    this?

    Great, but that would be operating under the assumption that the controller is on all the time (the wireless auto shut off after about 15 minutes)...

    I read through the different articles linked on that page and only found one mention of the controller shutting off. In the "Your Xbox Wireless Controller Shuts Down" article, it says that the controller is designed to shut down after 15 minutes to conserve
    batteries. This isn't the low-power state I'm referring to. The old 360 controller did this.

    I don't think the controller should turn off when it is wired into your xbox. A wireless controller will turn off after 15 minutes to save battery though.

    I have the same issue. It appears only netflix and youtube keep the controller active during video. any other video app i have (CW, AMC, SYFY, ETC) the controller auto shuts down after 15 minutes.
