Wireless connection problem

Hi, I turned on my xbox today and have been unable to find any networks, I run the network test and my console says its an hardware problem, my console is under warranty and when I go to the repair page and select connection problems I'm told to contact
support, I follow the link to not find any way to contact support only post here or faq's...

Why when i test my xbox live connection does it say its working, but it doesn't?

How are you connecting to the internet? Are you using a wired connection, or a wireless (WiFi)? I had a console where a WiFi connection would give me occasional problems, so you would want to check that out.

Just to clarify, are you losing your connection to Xbox LIVE, or just the party and/or game? If you are just having party issues, check out your NAT settings.

Hi there,

Can you check the Netgear website to ensure you are using the very latest version of firmware on you Netgear?

Once you have done that and if it still doesn't work can you try (as a test) turning off WPA2 on your router and see if it connects with no security.

Hey there Ram! I understand you are having some issue connecting to LIVE wirelessly. Can you describe what you are experiencing for us; are you completely unable to connect, or do you get disconnected after a while? What are you doing when you get disconnected?

Also, have you tried a wired connection, preferably directly to the modem, to see if that works. Please let us know and we'll go from there. Thanks!
