Wireless connection on xbox one kicking me out of games and party chat!

Ahhh i see, thats not good, so before i attempt to set this guest account up what u have suggested is to select the WPA 2 as long as that is the only device to go on the guest account and to follow all the other steps on the instructions VM game on the link
above? And if this fails to get a perline adapter and if that fails switch providors?

Yes set up WPA2. It will ask you to make a passphrase or passkey. It's actually not as complicated as WEP and will be a little easier than those instructions say on that website for setting up WEP.

As for powerline adaptors. if you did buy them you would need to buy a pair, one to connect to the router and one for the xbox.

TP-Link make some good 500mbps powerline adaptors and they are a lot cheaper than netgears

are powerline adaptors any good? i'm wondering if I should be using those as my xbox one has seriously slow speeds with the wired connection

No you shouldn't. Unless it was a typo you said you are using a wired connection.

Powerline adaptors just act as an ethernet extention for if a normal wired connection isn't practical.

As you are already using wired you already have the best connection type.

You slow speeds are probably because your internet connection is slow which would need to be fixed by your ISP.

If you don't think your actual internet is slow because you only have slow speeds on xbox then start a new thread asking for help giving full details of your connection like ISP and brand name of router and modem.

Hi guys im very pleased to say i have bought the tp link powerline adapters and it has worked, my netwrok settings say strict but when in call of duty mw mat type is open a d i havent been kicked once, also im in the attic and my connection is just was good
as if i was sat right next to the router, i would recommend these, u can get them online at amaxon but got mine from comet for £25, i did get the 500mbp which is better so very very happy thanks guys for all ur help, never knew forums could be so informative!

I don't own a superhub 2 myself but I did find this thread on the virgin media forums

Apparently it's a common problem with the superhub 2 disconnecting when using wireless.

Someone on page 17 mentions fixing it by adding a guest network to the router.

I've linked the thread so you could read through that while waiting for someone knowledgeable of that router to reply to this thread.
