wireless connection not working

my brand new xbox one x has just suddenly decided it wont connect to my wireless network. it has been working fine for weeks and then one day i could connect to partys because it said my NAT type was unavailable. i read online that i had to clear my MAC
address which i did which seemed to fix the issue for the first few times however now my xbox wont connect the my router.

i have spoken with my internet provider and the router is working perfectly and has no restictions. none of the xbox help forums or suggestions work as i cant physically get online to change things like SSD and MAC etc.

has this ever happened to anyone else and if so, how did you fix this issue?

Hi, thank you for your reply. I'm hoping this is the issue. i have already spoken with my internet provider and they are installing a new router on monday. hopfully this will fix this issue. it is concerning how every other device on my network works on
wifi but it is just the xbox that is having problems..

You can't go online but are you connected ? No visibly, but does the Xbox see the router ?

Have you tried to connect your Xbox with a wire ?

Try a wired connection via Ethernet. Cycle your Xbox One.
Hold down the power button for 5 seconds until it shuts down, then unplug the system and wait 30 seconds.

This problem is caused by some Routers especially those given by the managers. A friend of mine had the same problem solved by changing the router

Hi Niko, thank you for your reply. the xbox connects fine via ethernet cable. its just the wifi that seems to not connect. the router is visible and my xbox can find it however when i type in the password, it comes up "testing connection" and they always
says "unable to connect to your network."

i have tried cycling the power for both router and xbox as advised in the help sections provided by Microsoft but nothing works..

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with connecting your console to your network wirelessly.

If you haven't already, I would recommend that you take a look at the
Xbox One Connection and Network Solution wizard and see if some of the techniques provided for you work.

Alternatively, if you can detemine that your console is not the problem by using the link above, and if you are planning on getting new network hardware, perhaps restoring your router to factory defaults might just help your console connect to your network.

Keep in mind that this will place your router in a state where it will have no additional security, and if you do not have a device that will allow you to configure this [laptop, Pc, phone] device from the router interface, this may not be the step you might
want to use.

Instead, you could try reducing your router firewall protection, but I would not condone removing it entirely as not having any sort of firewall enabled is not recommend.
