Wireless connection form decides to display on console

I ask this due to I don't find something related to connect the phone to the console hotspot directly in the Wireless display app description:

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Xbox 360 wireless adapter. A flashing green light indicates that the adapter is attempting to connect to a wireless network. When you try to connect to your wireless network, does the console prompt you to connect
an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, or does it recognize the adapter but display no wireless networks in the list?

Please, try connecting via Wi-Fi.

Connect the Xbox and the PC on a wireless network and do the setup.

Open the Wireless Display App on your console.

Then press the Windows Key + K on your PC.

Xbox One X not displaying any wireless networks, even though other devices are connected to the WiFi. I even reset the console but kept the games&apps. However, when restarting it still won't show any wireless-networks.

If you're trying to do the other way around which is to cast your PC to your Xbox, you will need to download the Wireless Display app to your Xbox.

Once the app is installed on the console, open it up. It will display a message saying that your console is now ready to be connected to your PC.
