  1. Wireless Cable Receiver?

Can the Xbox One or will the Xbox One be able to act as a wireless cable receiver? Because I just got a TV in my room and i don't have a wireless Receiver yet (I have U-verse) and was wondering if the Xbox One will eventually be able to act as one. I tried
looking it up on Google and got nothing and was wondering any any of you had heard anything.

    :)

    Netflix on 360

I see a few for sale that say no wireless, ethernet cable needed. Is this an older model thing or are they prone to breaking?

How do I stay connected to Destiny?

If you're using wireless then try plugging an ethernet cable in, might solve that issue.

    Wireless Cable Receiver?

No because wireless cable receivers have special antennas that work with one stationary cable box. Technically the xbox one is not a receiver. you would still need att's receiver to watch tv on your xbox. xbox just serves as a portal

  5. Actually, the 360 can work with U-verse as another cable receiver. At this point with the X1, I would wait and see. Check for any updates here and with ATT. I bet they would want to cash in on their customers that have an X1.
As it is, I think they charge $9 to $11 to use the 360 as a receiver instead of their own equipment.

Connecting my Xbox 360 controller to Windows 8 laptop.

For wireless Xbox 360 controllers, you cannot use the charging cable to connect to a PC (it only transfers power, not data). To use the controller with a PC, you will either need an "Xbox 360 controller for Windows" (non-detachable cable) or use your existing
wireless controller with the wireless gaming receiver for Windows.

This is the wireless adapter you could use:

cant connect xbox 360 controller to windows via USB

Are you actually using a wireless controller with the plug n play charging cable?

If so that is the reason it's not working properly, you will need either a 360 controller that is weird( meaning the cable is not removable) or a wireless received

    Controller on windows 7

The USB charging cable for the wireless controller does not carry data. The reason Windows "sees" it is for the purposes of charging only. To use a wireless controller with Windows requires the
