Wireless but saying wired???

I assume you use wireless controller as you say youve changed batteries.

if its fine with wired and not through wireless control then theres something not right with the console and its wireless sync with controllers.

Well, it says it's wired. I have seen recently that the most recent firmware of Genie on Netgears has been causing some problems wired. You say you that the console has the internal wireless adapter. Can we go wireless and see if that helps?

You are saying you can't use wired due to other devices relying on wireless? Or did you mean other devices using all the wired ports? If the wired ports are all being used I would purchase a switch. A switch is a simple way to provide more ports for your
wired needs. If you are saying you can't use wired because of others in the household using wireless then I am confused on the statement.

So reading over this I think I missed one import question. Is this wired or wireless? If it's wireless plug in a cable to see if it resolved the issue. It's very possible that if you're wireless you're dropping packets. If you're wired, try wireless. You
never did say what the Xbox was saying on the detailed network info. Last, if you have a friend with a good connection try it over there. I just want to see if it's the xbox or your home network. If the problem replicates somewhere else (wired), then it's
could be something with the Xbox.

my NAT type is moderate. also i have realized when my games were not lagging it would say my connection type was wired. and whenever my games are lagging my connection type would then say wireless. im not trying to figure out why its saying i play on wired when i really play on wireless back when my games were not lagging. im trying to figure out how to switch back from wireless to wired. i know that was confusing but do you get it?
