Also try different controller (if you have any) Maybe the problem is in the adapter, if you wont be able to connect other controllers, the issue is maybe the Wireless adapter.

or your controller cannot power on?

If your controller cannot power on,

You can try to usb connect, If work, this maybe your batteries problem,

If not work too, you need get the new controller or fix it.

If you cannot wireless connect,

you can try use other controller wireless connect the console,

If can other controller wireless connect is not work too,

this is your console problem,

else, controller problem.

I see that this thread is escalated and I am here to seek clarification and deliver a solution. To be clear you are talking about this adapter correct? Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10

If so, make sure when you use it to connect that you turn off your PC Bluetooth so that the signals don't mix or cross. It looks like you've tried many ways to troubleshoot, including trying on another device. If it is functioning on another device but not the other - the issue is with the PC itself, not the adapter.

If you still have the packaging try using the USB extender cable. Also make sure that any other computers or systems such as the laptop, or if you have one, an Xbox are unplugged and turned off so that it doesn't seek any other devices in your pairing attempt

I asume you are talking about the official Xbox Wireless Adapter Controller.

Is that is true, you can follow the steps described in here for connecting it : https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/...ories/xbox-wireless-adapter-for-windows-setup

If not, the other solution is :

Plug the Wireless Adapter to your PC

Connect your Xbox One Controller to your PC via USB cable

When the controller is connected, unplug the USB cable from the controller

At this point, the controller should be paired with your Wireless Adapter (or at least, that works for me everytime!)

You try use USB to first connect your controller and pc.

If your Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows is working,

the controller will auto wireless connect on next time
