    Wireless Adapter not working


    Whenever I check my connection it says everything is working, but when i log on to xbox live it says "Some Xbox Live features may not be accessible" then my connection drops off. I've tried resetting it, using different connections, but it never works.
    Any help?

    Wireless adapter not working

    Hi guys. My brother has a problem with his Xbox 360 Wireless G Networking Adapter.

    When plugged in (in any USB port front and back), it will sometimes flash red once, sometimes twice etc.

    Sometimes it doesn't even flash at all. I've tried using a USB extension lead on all the ports too but still no luck.

    But when I connect it to my computer, a solid red light comes up, so it can't be a hardware failure, can it?

    I've also tried it on my Xbox and the same things happens - sometimes it flashes sometimes it does nothing.

    Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone got any ideas?

    Hey mate, we'll need some more info please. What wireless adapter is this? What happens when you try and connect? When you try and run a LIVE connection test? Let us know, and we'll see what we can do!

    try to reset the factory defaults of the network settings, hope it works

    just try follow these steps:

    >xbox home>settings>system>select your network>configure network>additional settings>RESTORE TO FACTORY DEFAULTS

    Gabriel can you try disconnecting the wireless adapter and open the app?
    If that works, connect the wireless adapter with the app opened.

    By the way, is this wireless adapter the Xbox Wireless adapter? Or is a Bluetooth adapter?

    From my experience with wireless adapters if you use anything other than a wireless adapter for the Xbox it won't work. Most adapters for pc or other devices won't work for gaming systems
