  1. Wireless adapter G vs N

Hi there! My question is: would I benefit from buying Xbox 360 wireless adapter N (black one) instead of wireless adapter G (white one)? Would I feel the difference? I mean in playing online multiplayer games (I know that N adapter is good for streaming
HD video but I use my Xbox for gaming only)?

    Thanks

    :)

    which wireless adapter?

I have a pro xbox 360 so I will need a wireless adapter to connect to xbox live.

My router is set to b/g/n mixed mode, so will I need the normal wireless adapter of the wireless N adapter?

    Thanks

Both will work fine. It just depends on if your router supports N or not. If, you are not sure, get the G.

G does up to 54 Mbps and N does up to 300 Mbps.

  5. Yes, my router supports N. My ISP provides me with ~100Mbit bandwidth channel.

Are you sure I would not feel at all the difference between G and N adapter in games?

    Thanks

I hate it when people just mention bits of information but don't talk about what real world applications this has.

The N adapter will have a better connection--as in, any interference that can cause latency or connection drops will be reduced. Latency is always a problem when playing online. If you live in a very populated area, I suggest getting the N adapter. The G
adapters are old, and were discontinued because they were insufficient. Most likely, you have wireless N capabilities with your home network hardware, as that is the new 'standard'. G is outdated, old, and frankly doesn't support a lot of bandwidth. That being
said, any gaming should never reach G's full specs--even if you're hosting an online match.

If that's too long to read, buy N. G is crap. N will give you the best wireless connection.
