    Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 not connecting


    Recently I had purchased a Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 to connect my Turtle Beach Stealth 600 to my Laptop. I've asked Best Buy and Turtle Beach and both say you can connect the headset using this adapter. Yet, when I insert the adapter and press both
    pairing buttons on the adapter and headset, the adapter can't seem to find the headset. No one online seems to be having this problem so I hope someone can help.

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums, I'd be happy to answer that.

    The Xbox One Wireless controller with Bluetooth can be connected to a Windows 10 PC with a USB cable, Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, so yes, it can be connected via the adapter. The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is not
    compatible with an Xbox 360 controller and will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. I'll provide the support articles with this information:

    Xbox Elite Controller 2 will not connect VIA usb or Bluetooth to my pc

    The original XBox Elite controller requires the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 so without that adapter it will not be recognized properly by Windows. The newer, Elite Series 2 can connect to a Windows 10 PC without the need of an adapter.

    The OP posted this thread under the "Gaming on Windows PC/PC Gaming" category of the Xbox forums. Also contrary to popular belief, the Xbox One console does not support Bluetooth wireless technology. The controllers connect to the console using a proprietary
    wireless technology unique to the console and the
    Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10    . Bluetooth connectivity is reserved for Windows 10 only and available on current production of Xbox One wireless controllers.

    wireless adapter for windows is not bluetooth connect.

    On Windows 10 setting, drive, blue tooth and other,

    other drive, make sure other drive has 'Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows' .

    On the add new drive, your need change 'Other drive'.

    If you cannot connect too,

    you can use usb finish the first connect.
