    Wired Xbox Series X - Bad Lag


    Hello,

    Curious to see if anyone else is seeing this issue. My Xbox Series X is hard wired to my router (Orbi RBR750). Playing Fortnite I see the red x for poor connection. Playing Call of Duty Cold War TDM has bad lag throughout game play. Currently pulling down
    230mbs & 11 mbs up with 30-60 ms ping (16ms ping via speedtest through app on phone?).

    The new WWII COD is amazing! But it has its problems ...

    I can't even finish a match it is so laggy. I dont think the lag was as bad with my xbox. the xbox one x is horrible with lag.
    Are you using wifi or wired connection?

    I understand you about the xbox license.

    I rather not want to have a wireless headset because I dont like charging and the battery life will decrease over time. So that leave me with two options:
    1. Wired, 3.5mm into the Xbox series x controller
    2. Wired, usb, into the Xbox series X

    I checked the microsoft store and there are only 2 compatible series X headsets. Both wireles.

    Do you know any wired Xbox series X headset? That is compatible with the series x? I prefer USB but have to go 3.5mm otherwise.

    My xbox series s download speed low and I can't play my 2k without getting kicc out the game because on lagging

    Have the issue on my series x under WiFi , all my other devices are fine but when I use the series x under 2.4gh it’s really bad lag and 5gh is better but still laggy, only solution that I found right now is to use Ethernet and completely disconnect WiFi. Hope this helps!
