    Hi, I hate wireless controllers!! Can I use the xbox one wired controller
    for PC for my xbox one console? I know I can get the kit to "wire" my controller which I have done but it broke and will not work anymore and I'm not going to buy another. Is the xbox one controllers from
    other makers "authorized" for use on the xbox one console? And is there any plans to make a "hard wired" controller?

    Was it the official Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller? For the Xbox 360 wireless controller, an adapter is required. For Xbox One, the original Xbox One controller will only work when wired. For the One S controller, you can connect it via bluetooth.

    From what I could understand when i read an article on pcgamer.com the PC xbox one controller is exactly the same as the xbox one controller only that it comes packaged with a micro USB cable in the box.. As far as I know if you want to use your Xbox one
    controller wired instad of wireless all you need is an standard compatible usb cable with a micro usb plug on the end to go into the controller.. you don't have to buy a play & charge kit to use it as a wired controller..

    There currently is no wired controllers for xbox one.

    The controllers we currently have run as if they are wired controllers when an Micro USB Cable gets plugged in.

    I like how the X1 one controller is both wireless and wired. Unplug the cable for wireless, plug in the cable for wired. No need to buy two controllers anymore, just one controller that converts to either.

    You would need to get a wired controller. You cannot plug in the controllers like Xbox one and have them become wired.
