    Wired Xbox One controller stops responding after while


    As the title says, the wired Xbox One controller I own stops responding randomly(or with a pattern. I haven't detected any tho). It is used through the windows store Xbox accessories app. The other Microsoft support pages haven't been much help.

    Xbox Stops Responding to Controller

    I don't know if it's an issue with the system, or an issue with the controller, but while navigating the dashboard my Xbox stops responding to my controller. The light on the controller remains lit, but just stops working. I've tried resyncing, re-updating
    the controller, removing and replacing the batteries, and restarting the Xbox but it continues to happen. The only time I can get it to work again is after a hard reboot of the console, and even then it takes more than one reboot to get the controller to work
    again. The weird thing is that it only happens on the dashboard, and with apps, but so far not with games. Do i need a new controller? Is it covered by the warranty?

    Hello everyone, I am using a wired Xbox controller for my windows computer... Suddenly my controller stops working in between...the X light freezes, I mean only one led glows while playing, but it hangs and all the 4 LEDs glow... I am new to this, can

    Xbox one controller has loose USB connector

    The connector design of the wired xbox one controller is terrible. I've had to wired controllers fail due to loose connectors. Microsoft will not respond nor help with the issue. I feel ripped off.

    I had this problem as well last year it is a very rare bug in the console system what splved it for me is a hardboot of the console and taking out the batteries, hardboot it by holding the xbox buttom on the console until it shuts down than after 5 sec take
    the power cablenout just to be sure, when booting the console up connect your xbox controller via usb with it if it doesn't work try it with the connection buttom on the controller (located next to the charging port) and the same buttom on the console (located
    next to the front usb)

    Holf the buttpm on the controler first till it blinks and than hold the console buttom until your controller reconnects.

    I would try to update them on another console. I would try them on said console or a pc with a blu tooth connection. If they work, I would try once more to use on the console. If still a problem, try doing a factory reset and see if maybe driver corrosion
    is the issue. Good luck!

    Since you said you’ve had the Xbox for several years, is this an original Xbox one or an Xbox one S? And I’m just making sure I got this clearly down, your controller or any other controller and it does the same thing on your console, correct? Have you tried
    your controller on another system to see if it works properly
