    Wired Xbox Controller not updating


    I recently got a new wired controller, in order to use my headset with it I need to update it, but the update never progressed and multiple times throughout the wait, the controller will turn off therefor stopping the update completely if I don't turn it back on, the controller is only wired if that helps.

    Xbox elite series 2 disconnect from my xbox one x all the time, 1 day old controller

    Try updating the controller with the Wire in the Xbox Accessories App.

    Then try an re sync the controller.

    Hello again, I understand, if it is a 3rg controller, Do not know if you will be able to update the firmware, you will even have to try to see on the manufacturer's website if there is firmware for the control.

    Doesn't seem like the update is working on laptop either, for reference I believe its a 3rd party controller which is made for xboxq

    Hello NovaBlade, you've tried updating the controller via the Xbox Accessories App for PC, if you haven't tried it, downlod the App and see if you can update it.
