    wired Xbox controller keeps disconnecting from pc (rocket league)


    Ive seen heaps of these but they have came to no fix. so heres the story: my controller keeps randomly disconnecting from rocket league. ive done everything ive seen on reddit, here and more fourms and none of it seemed to work. it worked yesterday
    perfectly fine but my pc did its routine restart and update which ruined everything. you can pull the cable out and put it back in but it will only last for 15-30 seconds before it disconnects again.

    things to note:

    i use epic games

    its wired

    i cant use wireless

    it works on other games

    it works on my brothers pc

    Things ive tried:

    download drivers

    used emulator

    different controller

    different cable

    restart pc

    Let’s try to sort this out. However, before that, I would like to ask some questions:

    Is the controller disconnecting when you play Rocket league, or are more games affected?
    Do you remember if Rocket league, Windows, or the controller firmware was updated recently?
    Can you confirm if the controller works on another PC with Rocket league installed, or did you only test by connecting the controller to this other PC?

    Sorry but Rocket League is not a play anywhere title. As such there is no way to transfer content from the Xbox to the PC.

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. We understand you're attempting to install Rocket League on your PC. Unfortunately, Rocket league isn't part of our

    Xbox play anywhere games    . This means that rocket league only works on the Xbox One, it wouldn't be available on PC. Even though it's not part of our Xbox play anywhere games i believe there's third party sites such as (Steam)
    that has rocket league available on PC. We apologize for the inconvenience.
