Wired xb1s controller

I am having trouble with my wired controller disconnected in all the usb ports. What is really going on.. Thanks for any input on the fix or troubleshooting this.

I really appreciate your feed back,I have 2 plug n play kits for both controllers,yes its prety much how im doing it,I mean full wired controllers,no battetys, no plug n play,should have made that clearer.

Plug a micro USB into the controller. Problem solved.

All you need is a micro USB of appropriate length then. The controller shuts off the wireless radio when a micro USB is plugged in and turns it in to a wired controller. Therefore, Microsoft has no need to release a separate wired controller that will be
more expensive than just buying a USB cable.

Hey SordidBeatNik!

Your issues with your wired controller may be due to damaged ports in the controller, the cable you're using, or a damaged port in the Xbox. I suggest:

try a different wire/cable to connect your controller
check the ports in your controller
check the ports in your Xbox

It is possible that you may have been too rough with the controller/cable and ended up damaging the cable and/or ports on the Xbox.
