Wired X-box 360 controller turning on the off.

about 2 months ago, i got a wired 360 controller for christmas. it was brand new. the other day it was working just fine, then yesterday it started turning on and off randomly. it does this when i have it connected to my xbox, and it does it on my PC. i
don't know whats wrong with it. I NEED HELP

Split Screen On System

are you trying to split screen on the x-box 360? if so try just turning on the second controller.

X Box One stopped powering TV on and off

My X Box One recently stopped turning my TV on and off with the console. I have a connect attached, but I have always left it turned off unless I am actively using it., so I have never had volume or channel control through the X Box, but until recently,
turning on the X Box would turn on the TV, and turning off the X Box would turn off the TV. Any ideas on how to get that working again?

Hello,

seems like you have a faulty cable that causes the connection problem with your xbox controller. Sometimes the cable bends and loses connectivity depending on the usage. At this point you should register the said controller and ask for another one at the
xbox online service center:

PowerA JUST released a competitor to the Elite Controller called the FUSION Pro. It is half the price of the Elite Controller, doesn't look as "cool" and it is Wired.

I would seriously stop playing video games if they went back to wired controllers. It's also part of the reason I prefer X Box controllers over the PS4; if the battery dies on the PS4 controller when I'm playing, it gets turned off even in the middle of
a game. I never, ever, ever, want to play using a wired controller. -_- Lol.

Could be a driver issue bud, worth checking to see if uts showing up in device manager.

BAD 2020

Reset your modem and do a hard reset of x box one by holding the lit up x button on the console not the controller. Hold it until the box turns off. This should help you all.
