Wired Surround Sound Headsets

Discus and support Wired Surround Sound Headsets in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm looking for a surround sound headset for my Xbox one, and I prefer wired headsets.     Wired Surround Sound Headsets


    I'm looking for a surround sound headset for my Xbox one, and I prefer wired headsets. Is there any other option than the Astro A40? If it has to be wireless, I'd rather not have the Turtle Beach 500x (stealth) series. The Astro A50'd the option that
    I'd take, but do you guys have any suggestions?

    Best WIRED Surround Sound Headset?

    I'm using the dx12 basically the wired x12 headset with the dss for 7.1 the sound is amazing but I'm experiencing some left ear pain which I didn't get from my x11s I'm Hoping its because they are new

    Best WIRED Surround Sound Headset?

    I'm in the market for my first surround sound... well, anything, really. I've never had a surround sound setup, and my current living situation doesn't allow for speakers. So, a headset is my next choice. However, I have a wireless router on the floor before
    me, and a wireless network range expander in the room I game in, so wireless interference will likely be very high. Due to that, I'm looking for a wired headset (or wireless if it has very, very good reviews that state wireless interference is non-existent).

    I can't seem to find any good WIRED surround sound headsets. I just keep coming up with Stereo/simulator combos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Mix Amp Pro + whatever console/pc headset you want. Sennheiser Game One says hi.

    If your avoiding the A40 because of the poor mic quality, then you are out of luck. The Mixamp Pro is the reason why the mic is bad but you need it to turn any headset into digital surround sound.

    Xbox One "'STEREO' Headset Adapter" clarity? Stereo or Simulated Surround Sound.

    Based on a couple of information pieces (links below), I think the word "stereo" is mistakenly placed on the headset adapter. I don't have the exact facts and would also like to hear the official word from MS but think about this.. every surround sound
    headset (except for ones with multiple speakers in the ear cups) use a stereo wiring. One wire for the Left speaker and one wire for the Right speaker. These wires come out from a surround sound processor (e.g. Astro Mixamp, TB DSS, etc) before they get
    to speakers in the ear cups. The surround sound processor is what makes the headset a "surround sound" headset. These processors can do the same for ANY headset.

    In the article linked from gamerawr, it states that MS is trying to negate the need for 3rd party audio processors by processing surround sound on the xbox one and feeding it to your headset via the headset adapter. Essentially taking place of a Mixamp,
    DSS, what have you...

    Also, Turtle Beach is labelling their XO series headsets specifically for Xbox One and uses "Cenematic Surround Sound" as a touted feature of these headsets... you know how they connect to the xbox one? Via the headset adapter (included).

    I think it's perfectly feasible to have surround sound coming through the headset adapters. I just hope MS confirms that is the case.

    turtle beach headsets?

    I have the DX11 for 5.1 in-ear surround sound. I really don't mind the wires, especialy since I do not have to worry about batteries or charging the headset. Amazing sound out of this headset.

    i have a surround sound system hooked into my XB-one. I really am waiting for a wireless headset. I like being totally wire free. but thats just me. I enjoy true surround sound.
