Wired Series X - No connection after restart.

I upgraded a few months ago from a xbox one to a series x. I used the same ethernet cable that was connected to my original. I had zero issue with my internet/live on my old console. On day one I had to set up the series x with a USB to be able to update to be able to use it because it wouldn't connect to live. After that when I would turn on the xbox from a power saving off, I would get no connection to xbox live. I would need to restart it on average 6 times to be able to connect. I was hoping it was just something software related and waited for a few updates before posting. To remedy I turned on quick boot, against my choice. Still periodically maybe once every 3 weeks it will lose connection and I have to restart a bunch of times. This is a good connection with static IP at both the console and to the house. When checking the connection by clicking "connect to xbox live" it shows a connection with an open NAT and I've checked in the past and I could access the internet from the browser from the console while it couldn't connect to live. The fact the my NAT is open suggest, to me, that my router settings are good. I've tried a few DNS options, but it doesn't seem to affect it. This issue doesn't have to do with Live being down, I've checked in the past each time this happens. Did anyone have this experience and find a solution?

I'll be trying these steps over time, thanks for the suggestions. I hope one of those fixes it, it's pretty frustrating when it happens.

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > General > Network setting > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address: clear

Then, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

Are you using a wired or wireless internet connection?

Try a wired connection (ethernet cable) to your network hardware and restart the console. It should connect and do the required OS update.

If wireless choose a factory refresh of the console. After the refresh is complete, input the console setup details again.

After reading others people’s posts who are having the same issue, it seems this may be a wired networking issue. I unplugged the Ethernet and connected via wifi and it works fine. The wired connection issue with the series X is widespread and Microsoft needs to address this.
