Wired Network Connection Issues Xbox One S

So here is my dilemma, I just recently had to upgrade to an Xbox One S from my launch Xbox One. With my original Xbox I always used a aired connection and never had any issues. I had great speeds of around 120 mbps upload and download. However, now that
I've upgraded, my wired connection doesn't work.

When I start my One S it takes a long time trying to sign in to my profile. Eventually it just gives up and leaves me not signed in on my home screen. Then when I try to sign it in again, it gives me the error 0x87DD0017. I looked into that error and didn't
really find much help.

When I unplug my Ethernet, it immediately connects to the wireless but for some reason my connection is weak and causes a significant amount of lag when I play online. So once it's connected to the wireless I'll plug the ethernet back in and it seems to
connect. But the wired connection is spotty when I do this. Sometimes it'll give me a good connection but 9 times out of 10 it has connection issues. When in having issues I'll run the detailed network stats and it will say my download is around 30 mbps,
upload is 0 mbps, I have around an 80% packet loss and an 81 ms latency.

Does this sound like a hardware issue or is there a setting I can change to fix this all?

Problems with internet through xbox one

I used to face the same problem but then in my case it was a connectivity issue with my wired network. Once it was fixed everything was back to normal again.

 

Xbox One S Wired network issues

I have been having an issue with my wired network connection for the last few days where the consoles show I have network connection (eg connected to live, can see friends etc) but when I do the multiplayer and Detailed Network Statistics test it tells
me the download speed is 0kbs and i cant play games or join parties.

I have other devices on the same network connected the same way and they don't have the problem and the wifi connections seems to be ok but it has also had the same issue with 0 kbs speed.

I have hard reset the console several times restarted my modem changed out network cables done everything I can think off but still having the same problem. I am starting to lean towards this being an issue with console itself has anyone else had the same
issue and if so what have you done to fix it ?

 

I am having this same issue except reverse. My wireless connection was fine until I upgraded to the One S and now it doesn't work, I fight to sign in to my profile or Live, and even the wired connection is buggy. I too couldn't find much about our error
code. Here's hoping someone sees this and helps us! Very frustrating....
