Wired Keyboard connects to xbox 360 but wired controller wont.

Hi, are you connecting a wireless xbox 360 controller or a wired 360 controller, and are they official controllers?

Also some pc games make you use mouse and keyboard and i don't get on wiith that at all. i am aware some let you use the wired xbox controller but some wont let you.use a controller

Tried connecting a USB keyboard then also down button not working, similar to directional button behavior.

did you unplug the wired controller when you tried the mouse and keyboard?

sometimes one of my wired controllers misbehaves like that and I have to unplug it before I can use my other controller.

I worked out that it was because of damage to the wire causing it to give incorrect inputs to the Xbox and a replacement USB lead was all I needed to fix the problem.

um i dont think there is technically a big keyboard like a computer version for the xbox 360. but the chatpad is a small keyboard that is an attachment for your xbox 360 controller which depending on which type will determine if its a wired or wireless
keyboard. its pretty cheap and it can be used exactly for everything that'd require or would make simpler with a keyboard.

This is intended, unlike the xbox 360 this controller is changing from a wireless connection to a wired connection.
